Barbeques & Picnic Area
All guests staying in ABI Rooms 1-4 have access to a shared BBQ. Utensils can be provided upon request. Guests staying in the ABI Suite have access to their own private BBQ utensils included. Propane is provided for everyone, please bring your own tinfoil or grilling containers. We have several picnic tables set up around our property to sit at and enjoy your meals. **Please clean up thoroughly to avoid attracting animals.
Paddling on the Pond
We offer all of our guests complimentary canoeing on our little private lake. Come see us during store hours and we would be happy to get you set up with a canoe, paddles, lifejackets, and safety kit. You may even see our pet beaver named Cleaver! **Please be advised that canoeing is at your own risk.
Late Check-In
Whether your travel plans changed or something else came up, ABI provides you with the flexibility you need. Enjoy our Self Check-In by proceeding directly to your room when you arrive. The door will be unlocked and your key and receipt will be left on the table. Come see us in the morning if you have any questions!
Big Ol'Fire Pit
Who doesn't love a good campfire! Our large stone fire pit located next to the pond is a favourite social spot for all of our guests. It is also the perfect time to make ooey-gooey s'mores. We sell bags of wood for the lowest price around and will provide fire starter upon request. **Please be advised that we are occasionally subject to fire bans. **Please do not take wood from our forest.
Introductory Canoe Lessons
Canoeing can be hard! Luckily we have expert guides who love to share their skills with everyone. If you're hoping to get out on the water during your Algonquin adventure, but need a little extra guidance, we offer a 3-hour Introduction to Basic Canoeing Lesson. The cost is $50+tax per person, a minimum of 2 people. **Please contact in advance for availability.
